The Bloody Butcher wetfly pattern is a variety of teh Butcher wetfly. ( also see Butcher )The Butcher pattern was invented over 150 years ago. It was created by two men from Tunbridge Wells ( near London, England ). As one of them was a butcher the pattern was named after his trade. Even the colors red ( blood ) and blue ( the butchers apron ) remind us of the butchers trade. The Buther pattern is widely used on still waters and rivers in Ireland and Great Britain. The Butcher pattern can be used to fish Rainbow trout, Brown trout and Seatrout.
